Haji Wright looked back on defeat against Ipswich Town at the Coventry Building Society Arena,
Wright scored his 19th goal of the season to get City back into the game, but a Cameron Burgess goal ultimately secured the points for the visitors.
Haji gave his reaction after the final whistle and looked back on the night’s events.
On the game…
“It was an intense game, really back and forth.
“They are a good side and it was a difficult game at home.
“I think we could have done more with the possession we had. But it was not meant to be.”
The equaliser…
“The whole team felt we had the momentum, we wanted to keep that going and grab the winner.”
Their second goal…
“I think it was a set piece that they scored from, so we are disappointed about that.
“Some of the goals have been too easy, and that is something we talk about, and try and fix up for next season.”
The league run in…
“You have to look at the bigger picture.
“We have had some really good games this year and a lot some poor ones.
“There are a lot of areas in which we can grow in, so we need to work on those and hopefully improve.”
His nineteenth goal…
“I think it was Kasey (Palmer) who played me through, and I felt I was in on goal so I took the opportunity to shoot and yeah it went in.
“Hopefully being at home last game of the season we can win.
“We need to leave with a good taste in our mouth and get ready for next season.”
On the final game at home…
“It is very important to all of us in the dressing room.
“Being at home again, it has been a while since we won at home so we want to give the fans something to remember us by.”
