Sky Blues' Season Ticket sales surpass last year's release figures as fans take up the Early Bird discount offer.
The Sky Blues have announced Season Ticket information for the upcoming 2016/17 campaign, with new initiatives such as Money Back, Zebra Finance and Early Bird discounts having enticed Sky Blues fans to snap up their season tickets early.
The club has currently sold over 600 season tickets for next season, with this number marking a 50% rise in purchased tickets from this time last year.
The new ticketing system allows supporters to buy their tickets online and over the phone with the help of a dedicated call centre. For the first time ever, the club has also introduced a refund scheme which will see fans receive incremental discounts on their season ticket price depending on how many are sold. If we reach 15,000 season ticket holders, a huge 30% discount will apply.*
Finally, Coventry City is committed to keeping football affordable for families and has made several changes to the age brackets of the concession and junior pricing to watch the Sky Blues. The offer of FREE football has been extended by a year to Under-13s, meaning any JSB member under this age will be entitled to a free season ticket when accompanied by a paying adult.*
Chief Executive Chris Anderson, said: “I’m delighted with the way our fans have responded to the season ticket improvements, with over 600 having already pledged their support to the Sky Blues for the 2016/17 season.
“This represents a 50% increase in initial sales from last year's figures of the same period, and we’ve paid particular attention to taking on board the feedback from supporter groups on the new Ticketmaster system. The club are constantly looking for ways to improve the service we offer and the way in which we engage with the fans of this football club.
“New initiatives like the Zebra Finance option have made it easier for fans to support the club over the course of the season, and that will undoubtedly enrich the atmosphere inside the stadium.
“With the club completing the signing of Jodi Jones this week, it’s important we recognise the role of the fans in supporting the club’s future ambitions.
