The manager has confirmed that defender Chris Stokes is back out on the training field, while Stuart Beavon remains a doubt.
Willis is now eligible to play, and could be a boost defensively as City prepare to host Gillingham tomorrow afternoon.
Russell Slade said: “Jordan Willis is in my thoughts, it is a difficult decision as I thought defensively we’ve done okay. We’d also like to get fresh legs in there.
“Stuart Beavon will go out and train today and we’ll see how he gets on. It will be a late decision.
“Chris Stokes trained yesterday, obviously he will need a couple of games before we can throw him in to the mix. It is good to see him out there though.”
